Frank Trusty Sr.

Marvin Franklin “Frank” Trusty Sr., 90, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Thursday May 2 ^nd 2019 at his home. He was born April 7, 1929 in Jonesboro to the late Marvin Finis Trusty and Eula Trusty.

Frank has lived in Jonesboro all of his life and attended the Fisher Street United Methodist Church. He loved camping, traveling, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and being with his family. Frank served our great nation in the Navy during the Korean War where he received a purple heart medal.

In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Trusty and his very best friend, Roger Mitchell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jan of the home; daughter, Nancy (Jerry) Brown of Jonesboro; sons, Frank Trusty Jr (Sue Haggenmacher) of Jonesboro and Tommy (Sandi) Trusty of Heber Springs; grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Melissa Hardin, Michael Trusty, Chadwick Trusty, Adam Brown, Logan Trusty, Shaun Brown and Zack Brown, as well as 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 6, 2019 from 9-10 am in the Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Funeral service will follow the visitation Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10 am in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Jonesboro City Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Shaun Brown, Zack Brown, Ben Hardin, Brandon Jones and Adam Brown.
