Frank Mitchell, 65, of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Stow, Ohio. He was born in Knox County Kentucky and moved to Harrisburg in 1979 from Jonesboro. He was a member of Community Fellowship Church and a member of the Northeast Arkansas Horse Association. He was co-founder and co-owner of MDR Cartage Trucking, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Enterprise.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Mitchell and his granddaughter, Tiffany Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Mitchell of the home; four sons, Chuck Mitchell, Doug Mitchell and Jimmy Mitchell, all of Harrisburg and Tony Sinquefield, Memphis, Tennessee; two daughters, Terri Smith of Memphis and Debbie Moody of Bono, Arkansas. Also surviving are a brother, James Douglas Mitchell, Ft. Myers, Florida, and a sister, Margaret Lee Mitchell VanCleef, Jacksonville, Florida and thirteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Community Fellowship Church with Bro. Rex Holt officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Mike Riley, David Carnes, Tanner Parish, Bryan Mitchell, Jeramiah Moody, Tommy Holmes, Bob Johnston, and Carroll Carr. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Vickers, D.J. Mitchell, J. D. Mitchell, Doop Mitchell, and Mason Mitchell.
