Frank Lee Jr.

Frank Lee Jr., 83, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born to the late Frank Lee, Sr. and Sylvia Lee on July 5, 1937 in Friarspoint, MS.

He has resided in Jonesboro since 1965 after moving from Helena, AR. Frank was a faithful and active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and he was active with the United Cerebral Palsy telethon for many years. Frank and Sue owned Lee’s Pharmacy for over 40 years. He was a member of the Jonesboro Rotary Club and received the Paul Harris Award. Frank was a proud Ole Miss Alumni and was a season ticket holder for the Rebels football team. Early in his life, Frank was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Lee, of 61 years; infant sister, Joy Lee, and sisters, May Yang and Linda Lee.

Frank is survived by two sons, Greg Lee and Derek Lee both of Jonesboro; sister, Shirley (Albert) Soo of Jonesboro; brother, Richard (Clara) Lee of Grenada, MS; five grandchildren, Jacob Lee of Los Angeles, CA, Winston Lee, Eli Lee, Erik Looney all of Jonesboro, and Nate Looney of Little Rock; and In laws, Linda (Ken) Broxson of Milton, Fl; brother Gene (Becky) Wing of Jonesboro.

A visitation will be from 1-2 pm Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside will follow at 2:30 pm at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Billy Vanderbilt officiating. Active pallbearers will include:  Derek Lee, Greg Lee, Winston Lee, Eli Lee, Scott Harris, and Dimitri Harris. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr Danny Grubbs.
