Frank Edward Ford

Frank Edward Ford, 58, of Jonesboro, passed away on November 19, 2024 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 3, 1966 in Lake Village to Roosevelt Ford and Verain Charleston.

He was a Dermott High School graduate and lived in Jonesboro since 2009, moving here from Dermott, Arkansas.

Frank was a loving person with a playful and mischievous spirit. He loved tinkering with things, taking them apart and putting them back together. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures like going for a drive around town or spending time outside enjoying nature.

Frank also loved being helpful and could often be found sweeping out garages or yards. Most of all, Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by three brothers, James Ford, Eddie Ford, and Roosevelt Ford and a sister, Bertha Simpson.

He is survived by his brothers, Ernest Carter and his wife, Linda, of Jonesboro, Jessie Ford of California, Donnie Ray Ford, Kenny Ford, and Robert Ford, all of Dermott; sisters, Lillie Ford of Little Rock and Patricia Ford of Buffalo, New York; a host of nieces and nephews and many other family members.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Sam King officiating.
