Frank B. Gibbs Sr.

Frank B. Gibbs Sr, 54, of Jonesboro passed away on Thursday October 16, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Monroe, Michigan on August 24, 1960 to James M and Elizabeth L Sheffield Gibbs. He had lived in Jonesboro for 7 years, moving here from Memphis. He was a service manager for various Ford Dealerships in Memphis and Atlanta. Frank was of the Baptist belief and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Frank was preceded in death by his father; James M. Gibbs, Maternal grandparents; Frank and Agnes Sheffield and Paternal Grandparents; James and Mildred Gibbs.

Survived by his wife Michelle Gibbs of the home.

Sons; Frank “Brad” Gibbs Jr. of Arlington, Tennessee, Eric Gibbs of Southaven, Mississippi and Sawyer Taylor of Jonesboro.

Mother; Elizabeth Gibbs of Memphis.

Sisters; Sandy Bailey of Memphis and Teracia Killian of Fulton, Mississippi.

2 grandchildren; Annabella Gibbs and Caden Gibbs.

Nieces; Ashley Bailey of Memphis, Jacquline Killian of Starkville, Mississippi and Alex Bailey of Fulton, Mississippi.

Nephews; Michael Killian of Fulton, Mississippi, James Bailey of Memphis and Elijah Killian of Fulton, Mississippi.

Great Niece; Dahlia Killian of Fulton, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 19, 2014 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Doug Welborn officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Sunday October 19, 2014 at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers family requests that lasting memorials be made to the Disabled American veterans Chapter 21 or the American Diabetes Association 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, VA 22311.
