Francis “Frank” DiGaetano, 66, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was born to the late Frank and Joan DiGaetano on August 27, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. Frank graduated from Arkansas State University in 1977 with a Degree in Business and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He worked for E.C. Barton for 42 years before retiring in 2020. Frank enjoyed playing golf, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. He was very active in his community and his church, serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie DiGaetano.
Frank is survived by his sons, Andy “Drew” DiGaetano of Jonesboro and Tommy DiGaetano of Jonesboro; daughter, Maria DiGaetano of Jonesboro; brother, Michael DiGaetano (Amy) of Holly Springs, Mississippi; sister, Dolores McMinn (Mike) of Arlington, Tennessee, Joan DiGaetano (James Spratt) of Colt, Arkansas, and Susan DiGaetano (Pam Bise) of Jonesboro.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
A rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers will be Macky Hufstedler, Tom Gschwend, and Bob Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Special Olympics, St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, or Blessed Sacrament.
