Franchell Cole Hamrick

Franchell Cole Hamrick, 92, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday at Ridgecrest Health & Rehab. The daughter of Ollie William & Elizabeth Caples Cole, she was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her life here. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She loved to sew and did so most every day.

She is survived by her sons, Orvalle Sibert of North Little Rock, Jimmy Edward Hamrick of Sacramento, California, Byron William Hamrick of Elwood Indiana; her daughters, Donna J. Bollinger of Jonesboro, Frankie Lee Price of Brookland; and her sister, Pauline Root of San Ramon California. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Eddie Lee Hamrick; and 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

Graveside services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Unity Cemetery with Reverend Patty Soward officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
