Frances Throgmorton Haire, 76, of Wynne, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017, at her home.
Born in Trumann, Frances lived in Bay before moving to Wynne 59 years ago. She was a homemaker and grocery store cashier and worked 28 years at Hay's Food Town in Wynne before her retirement.
Frances was a charter member of Ridgeview Baptist Church in Wynne where she served as church secretary, Sunday school teacher, nursery worker and choir member. For several years Frances was a member of The Gospel Singers who sang gospel in the community. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed canning and being with her family.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Rudy and Elsie White Dedman; her first husband, Ellis Throgmorton; daughter, Virginia Earlene Throgmorton, grandson, Anthony Lee Wilson; 2 sisters: Velta Wax and Alpha Gann; and a son-in-law, Cole Price.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Haire of the home;
1 son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Dana Throgmorton of Fort Smith;
2 daughters and son-in-law: Pam and Dewey Wilson of Vanndale and Teresa Price of Siloam Springs;
2 step daughters and their husbands: Camilla Lynn and Rusty Branson of Little Rock and Sandra and Freddie Hill of Forrest City;
3 brothers and their wives: Jim and Diane Dedman of Bay, Raymond Dedman of Jonesboro and Dale and Barb Dedman of Mountain Home;
3 sisters: Connie Judd of Bay, and Donna Jean Dedman and Charlene Dedman, both of Illinois;
5 grandchildren and spouses: Jason Wilson, Casey and Doyle Webb, Tad and Jennifer Throgmorton, Katina Wilson, and Kelsey and Brian Niles;
3 step grandchildren: Josh Akers, Caleb Akers and Seth Akers;
17 great grandchildren, and
her 2 canine companions: Ryder and Mowgli.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Wynne with Rev. Toby Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Crosslawn Cemetery near Wynne with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers include Bobby Kennedy, Jimmy Locke, Tad Throgmorton, Brandon Cox, Allen Trotter and Rusty Branson.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday in Ridgeview Baptist Church.
