Frances Lyon

Frances “Babe” Lyon, 91, of Ozark Arkansas, formerly of Jonesboro, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Ozark Nursing Home. She was a member of the Highland Drive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lyon; one son Harold Ray Lyon; three brothers, John Morrow, Tom Morrow and Roy Morrow; five sisters, Nancy Brown, Vickie Armstrong, Elsie Mize, Ruth Crick, and Dedie Holloway.

She is survived by three daughters; Melba Yount, Germantown, Tennessee; Doris Moncrief, Ozark, Arkansas, and Betty Archer, Dewitt, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Ken Jones officiating and burial to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Stanley Taylor, Chris Taylor, Bryan Huckabee, Chris Jamieson, Jim Scott and Doug Lyon.

Visitation will be from 5 – 6:30 Monday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.
