Frances Faye Norton

Frances Faye Norton, 64, of Jonesboro went to be with her loving husband in heaven on August 20, 2007. She moved to Jonesboro after living in Illinois for 45 years.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Norton of Jonesboro and Richard Shannon of Illinois; two daughters, Teresa Gibson of Missouri and Andrea Norton of Illinois; one brother, Sammy Ishmael of Trumann; three sisters, Edna Ova, Goldie Rose, and Pat Coggins, all of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bud” Norton and a brother, Bobby Ishmael.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at Pine Log Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with Brother Charles Privett officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
