Frances Farrow Wiley, 74, of Jonesboro, formerly of Corning, died January 7, 2013 at Craighead Nursing Center. She was born in Biggers to James Hulen & Doris Whittington Farrow and moved to Corning in 1977. She had moved to Jonesboro 10 years ago. Frances loved the Lord and working in her church. She also loved her family and gardening. She had a gift for gardening flowers or vegetables, whether inside or outside. She was always involved in her community volunteering with the Girl Scouts or keeping records for local ball teams. She had served on the board for the Corning Medical Center and was instrumental in helping with the landscaping for the new medical facility.
Frances is survived by her children, Mike (Sue) Wiley, Missouri, Michele (Randall) Clark, Jonesboro, Melissa (Steve) Hutcherson, Moore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Trenton Hoggard, Anna Hoggard, Brett Wiley, Amy Wiley, Anna Wiley, Jessica Hutcherson, Cody Hutcherson, Alex Hutcherson; one great grandchild, Karsen Hutcherson; and her sisters, Kat Kling, Betty Smith, and Brenda Layton, all of Missouri.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Maxray Farrow, Jim Farrow, Barbara Legate, Fred Farrow, Bob Farrow, and Janie Farrow. All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
