Fm "Shorty" Brown

FM “Shorty” Brown, 79 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Monday, November 11, 2019 at his residence.  He had lived in the Jonesboro area all of his life and was of the Baptist belief.  Shorty was a farmer and also worked at Lincoln Manufacturing.  He enjoyed the quite solitude, gardening, carpenter and mechanic work.  Shorty is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dorothy of the home; 2 daughters, Tania Brown and Nioka (Barry) Clayton of Jonesboro; 2 sisters, Lonnie Jo Ridenour of Jonesboro and Nancy Qualls of Reno, Nevada; 2 grandchildren,  Amber (Josh) Ferguson and Ashley McGaha; 2 great grandchilden, Lynley and Jett; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Albert Camp officiating.  There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
