Floyd Mitchell Busby

Floyd Mitchell Busby, 52, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Ridgecrest Nursing Center.

Born in Trumann, Floyd lived most of his life in Jonesboro. He was a Christian, a loving brother and son, and will always be remembered. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents: Mitchell and Helen Scott Busby; by a sister: Norma Fletcher; and by a brother: Larry Busby.

Survivors include 3 sisters and brothers-in-law: Carolyn and Harry Ward, and Jo Ann and John Avery, all of Jonesboro, and Dottie and Junior Mullins of Washington state. There is also a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 1:30 in Oaklawn Cemetery with Bro. Larry Merrell officiating.

Pallbearers include Bobby Ward, James Stanfill, Jimmy Ward, Robert Erway,
Robert Erway, Jr., Jim Fisher and Charles Ward.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
