Floyd Goodman, 90, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, September 24, 2018, at his home. Floyd was born in Lauderdale County, Tennessee on September 4, 1928, to the late Dave and Iralee Burr Goodman. Floyd lived in Jonesboro his entire life where he worked as a mechanic, was an Army WWII Veteran and of the Seventh Day Advance belief.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his late wife of 64 years, Hazel Goodman, Brothers, David, Sonny, Billy, Willard, and Larry Goodman. Sister Dorothy Goodman and Evelen.

Survived by his wife Mary Goodman of the home.

Son, David Goodman (June) of Laurens, South Carolina.

Daughters, Mary Jeanette Gum, and Pat Judd both of Jonesboro. Debbie Trotti of Robertsdale, Alabama.

Step sons, Carl Allen of Pocahontas and Frank Allen of Illinois.

Step Daughters, Rose Barnett of Mountain Home, Nancy Webb of the home, Judy McQuay of Pocahontas, Nina Allen of Tuckerman and Christy King of Doniphan, Missouri.

Brothers, Milton Goodman, Jerry Goodman, Buddy Goodman, and Danny Ray Goodman all of Tennessee.

Sister, Carol Moody of Tennessee.

5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 27, 2018, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Massey officiating. Burial will be in Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday, September 27, 2018, in Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Danny Hughes, Brandon Hughes, Roger Vandergrift, Vance Penn, Floyd Luttrull and John Cockran.
