Floy L. Burrow

Floy L. "Flo" Burrow, 87, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, April 22, 2019, in her home.

Born in the Bowman community, Flo was a 1949 graduate of Bay High School. She married L.D. Burrow and she moved along with her family to California where they lived five years before returning to Jonesboro in 1960. Flo operated Flo's Beauty Shop in Jonesboro for many years and was a long-time member of Trinity Church in Jonesboro before becoming disabled.

Flo loved working in her yard and flowers gardens and hosting her family functions and family meals. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clinton and Marie Cheshier Bowers; daughter Sharon Burrow Heard; sister Linda Bowers Reece and brother Charles Bowers.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, L.D. Burrow of the home, married September 12, 1948;
2 sons and daughter-in-law: Danny and Shena Burrow and Bobby Burrow, all of Jonesboro;
7 grandchildren and their spouses: Angie and Steve Jones, Jamie Koster, Chris and Katie Ingram, Jonathan Ingram, Amanda and Devin Barker, Clint Burrow and Colby Burrow;
6 great grandchildren and
4 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Steve Jones, David West, Colby Burrow, Clint Burrow, Richard Draper and Chris Ingram.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
