Florence Park

Florence Park, 79, of Jonesboro died Sunday, May 6, 2007 at NEA Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro for the past twelve years moving here from Indiana. She was of the General Baptist belief and was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Park; her parents Vera and Roy Pearson; one sister, Imogene Jines and one brother Delbert Pearson.

She is survived by one son, Othel Vernon Park Jr., White Pigeon, Michigan; four daughter; Hazel West, Jonesboro; Brende Gesse, Benton Harbor, Michigan; Evelyn Patrick, and Arvella Bagwell, both of Jonesboro. Also surviving are three brothers, Hubert Pearson, Newburg, Missouri; Bill Pearson, Jonesboro; Roy Pearson, Overland, Missouri; four sisters Mary Kelly, Jonesboro; Elmeda Whitley, Brookland, Arkansas; Sandra Patton, Summitville, Missouri; Lois Johnson, St. Louis, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Stan Ballard officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Bobby Don West, Casey Ashton, Zachary Ashton, Daniel Patrick, Breek Patrick and Christopher Gesse.

Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6 – 8 at Emerson Funeral Home.
