Florence Veronica Bigelis

Florence Veronica Bigelis, 94, of Ruther Glen, Virginia died December 20 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was formerly of Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her son and his wife, John and Sharon Bigelis of Rapid River, Michigan; one daughter, Antonette Reedy of Ruther Glen, Virginia; two sisters, Anna Phillips and Josephine Yurkunas; three grandchildren, Christine and husband, Tim Wagner, Josie Welsh and Susan Bartashus; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony John Bigelis; parents, Aleksander and Antonina Wojnar Gut; one granddaughter, Mary Bartashus; one brother and six sisters.

Memorial services will be private.
