Flora L. Miller, 63, of Jonesboro, died Friday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. A homemaker, she had lived in Jonesboro for the past 11 years moving here from Clarendon. Mrs. Miller spent her life caring for her family and home.
She is survived by her husband, George “Hoot” Miller; her children, Amanda Owens, Clarendon, Jay Miller, Jonesboro, Melanie & Sammy Speaks, DeValls Bluff, Aaron Miller, Clarendon,; sister, Ann Powell, Conway; grandchildren, Brandi & Kevin Fletcher, Charles “Jake” Catlett, Jordan Alexander Miller, Caitie Miller, Jennifer Speaks, Jessica Speaks, several nieces, nephews, and other family members, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman & Nora Barnes Dillingham; and two brothers, L.J. Dillingham and Charles Henry Dillingham.
Funeral services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Richie Malone and her nephew, Rev. John Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers are Mike White, Gary Powell, Lee Dillingham, Dennis Yelvington, Keith Cook, and Clint Cook.
Honorary pallbearers are Braden Chastain, Skylar Lawless, Jeremy Carter, David Skinner, Donnie DePriest, Ross Williams, and Mark Powell.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon.
For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the Breast Cancer Awareness Group.
