Fern Sullivan

Fern Sullivan, 83, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, September 14, 2017. She was born to the late George and Annie Gould on August 21, 1934 in Floral, Arkansas. Fern was a member of the Church of Christ and was a Registered Nurse for 46 years. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, an avid reader, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Fern is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Sullivan; son, Patrick Sullivan; and brothers, Dale Gould and Vernon Gould.

Fern is survived by her son, George Sullivan (Joan) of Jonesboro; daughter, Pam Hodge-Keeton (John) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Keath Sullivan (Madison), John Sullivan (Lindsey), Sarah Sullivan, Christopher Sullivan, Paige Russell, and Lacey Gordon Hodge (Jessica). Fern also leaves behind six great grandchildren.

The visitation will be on Sunday from 6-8 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home with Jimmy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Palestine Cemetery in Batesville, Arkansas with the active pallbearers being Keath Sullivan, John Sullivan, Christopher Sullivan, and Lacey Hodge.
