Fern Elizabeth Vincent

Fern Elizabeth Vincent, 93, of rural Lake City, died Friday morning at St Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Oklahoma, Mrs. Vincent moved to this area 80 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: William “Doodle” Vincent; 2 sons: Shanley Vincent and Shelby Vincent; one sister: Francis Naff; and one brother: Shanley Starr.

Survivors include:

1 Daughter: Vikki Denton of Jonesboro;

2 Sons: Quillon Vincent of Bay, and
Dillon Vincent of Jonesboro;

7 Grandchildren: Gary Don Vincent, Gregory Vincent, Allen Vincent, Zak Vincent,
Jessica Southard, Stacy Lynn Johns, and Rachel Denton; and

9 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Jonesboro Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Jolly officiating.

Active pallbearers include: Gregory Vincent, Gary Don Vincent, Allen Vincent,
Seth Southard, Tommy Johns and Bobby Southard.

Honorary pallbearers include Michael Ashlock and Jeremy Ashlock.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
