Faye Garland

Faye Garland, 85, of Jonesboro died Saturday February 20, 2010 at her residence.

She was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro most of her life. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Garland, parents Charley Jackson Head and Martha Ann Fletcher Head, two sons; Wayne and Kenneth Garland, five sisters and six brothers.
Survived by three sons; Lanny Garland and wife Wendy of Bellevue, Michigan, Jeff Garland and wife Trudi of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Robert Garland of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

One daughter; Brenda Overman and husband Bill of Davison, Michigan.
Also survived by her two daughters -in-law Mary Garland of St. Amant, Louisiana and Sandra Garland of Coloma, Michigan.
Fourteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday February 25, 2010, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Reverend Mike Martin officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
Active pallbearers will be grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Wednesday February 24, 2010 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
