Evelyn J. Percifull

Evelyn J. Percifull, 76, of Jonesboro dies Sunday at NEA Baptist Hospital.

Evelyn was born on November 17, 1935 to the late Walter and Jewel Whitenton of Jonesboro. She married James Percifull on September 15, 1950. She live all of her life in the Jonesboro area, and worked as a LPN for many years. She loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, or anything that had to do with outdoors. One of her children’s best memories was the day she taught them how to ride a motorcycle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy “Mike” Percifull; a brother, Donnie Whitenton; a sister, Barbara Ann Whitenton.

Survivors include her husband, James Percifull of the home; two sons, Dannie Percifull of Jonesboro and Joseph “Cliff” Percifull of Little Rock; one daughter, Julie Rye of Trumann; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and two brothers.

Funeral Service will be at 11am. on Wednesday at the 1st United Methoist Church located at 306 Frisco street, Marked Tree AR with Brother Ron Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery at 2pm in Jonesboro with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
