Evelyn Murphy

Evelyn Murphy, 83, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born to Thomas and Jewel Cannimore on October 10, 1934 in Jonesboro. Evelyn loved gardening. She enjoyed the time she spent working to keep her yard and garden beautiful. Evelyn also enjoyed hummingbirds. In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Max Cosby Murphy, who died in 1995.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Susan Brown of Ann Arbor, Michigan; brother, David Cannimore of Madison, Mississippi; and sister, Barbara Jean Pack of Jacksonville, Florida. She also leaves behind three grandchildren.
