Evelyn I. Jennings

JONESBORO: Evelyn I. Jennings, 74, of Jonesboro passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born in Fulton, TN on May 3, 1939 to the late Mark and Vashti Boyd Parham. She had lived in Jonesboro for 18 months, moving here from Memphis. Evelyn was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband; Walker Lee Jennings, son; Turner Jennings, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survived by her son; Raymond Jennings and wife Paula of Memphis, TN.

Daughter; Debbie Jarchow and husband Chris of Jonesboro.

Sister; Betty Rhoads of Henning, Tennessee.

6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until the Celebration of her life at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. with Dr. Jimmy Adcox officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial be made to the WolfLife Campus Ministry P.O. Box 610 State University, Arkansas 72467.
