Evelyn Irene Felkins

Evelyn “Meme” Felkins, 79, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at her home. She was born March 11, 1944 in Sanger, California to the late David and Azalee Sullinger. Evelyn was raised in Delaplaine. She owned Tec Electric with her husband Keith. She worked as a social worker for Scan before retiring from Anheuser Busch. Evelyn enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, the beach and going to the casinos and dog tracks. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Tim Russom; brother, Doyne Sullinger; 3 sisters: Betty Sullinger, Patsy Taylor, Judy Niswonger and a niece, Teri Immel.

Survivors include her husband, Keith Felkins; 2 sons, Doyne Russom, Timothy (Rachel Sharp) Russom; daughter, Shelley Ragsdell; sister, Bonnie Crofford; brother, Jeff Sullinger; 9 grandchildren: LeAnn (Shelby) Steward, Nathan Ragsdell, Tyler Russom, Neely (Matt) Smothers, Dakota and Caitlin Collins, Ava-Claire Kimbriel, DJ Russom, Denver Russom; 8 great grandchildren: Silas Smothers, Caysen Russom, Camden Russom, Layton Russom, TJ Emery, Mason Dewey, Delia Dewey, Silver Collins; uncle, Cecil (Fran) Summers; sister in law, Sunny Sullinger; brother in law, J.O. Niswonger; niece who the family wants to give a special thanks for taking care of her, Kyrstal Niswonger and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
