On Friday, July 1, 2022, Eva Nadine Wagner, the loving, kindhearted wife, mother, and grandmother also known as MawMaw, passed peacefully from this life at the age of 81 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Nadine, one of twelve siblings, was born Eva Nadine Owens on March 16, 1941 to the late Annie Lee and Hansel Owens in Jacinto, Mississippi. On October 31, 1957, she married the love of her life and best friend, the late John Henry “Johnny” Wagner. They enjoyed 61 joyful years of marriage. Together they raised one daughter, Rebecca, and three sons: Johnny, Nathanael, and Daniel in Brookland, Arkansas. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband John Henry “Johnny” Wagner and siblings Marlin Owens, Alvin Owens, Carmon Owens, Gene Owens, Billy Owens, David Owens, and Christine (Owens) Passmore.

She is survived by four brothers: Junior Owens, Larry Owens, Joe Owens, and Butch Owens; her four children: Rebecca Wagner Murphy, Johnny (Edith) Wagner, Nathanael (Pam) Wagner, Daniel (Jennifer) Wagner; eight grandchildren: Aaron (Melissa) Murphy, Matthew Murphy, BreAnna (Aaron Russell) Murphy, Jonathan (Holland) Wagner, Sierra (Jesse) Logan, Hannah Wagner, Ashtyn (Brandon) Burdin, Jaedyn Wagner; and eight great-grandchildren: Maddox Murphy, Baylor Murphy, Skye Murphy, Cash Logan, Cannon Logan, Corbin Logan, Harlie Burdin, Brantley Burdin and one on the way, Remi Kay Russell.
