Eva Sue Henderson

Eva Sue Henderson, 69, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born in Osceola, Eva lived in LaFeria, Texas, before moving to Jonesboro in 1999. Eva was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Eva enjoyed mirror painting, crossword puzzles and television westerns. She also enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents: Hershel and Juanita Cantrell Henderson; two sisters: Barbara Tatum and Jeanette Henderson; and a brother-in-law, Harvey Darby.

Survivors include four sisters: Shirley Darby of Bono, Connie Buford and Donna Henderson both of Jonesboro and Rebecca Happy of Waxahachie, Texas;
three brothers: Truman Henderson of Jonesboro, Murry Henderson of Keiser and Glenn Henderson of Palestine, Texas; and
Several nephews and nieces and several great nephews and great nieces.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Herman Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
