Eva Holloway Hughes

Eva Holloway Hughes, 88 of Jonesboro passed from this life to her Heavenly home on August 13, 2019.

She was born September 28, 1930 in Cushman, Arkansas to the late Lee and Ethel Clark Holloway.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Sr and a son, Doyle Jr; 1 brother, Culon Holloway (Hollie); 2 sisters, Elfreda Tosh and Velma James.

She is survived by 1 sister, Mary Thorne of Jonesboro and 1 daughter, Anne Bozarth (Jerry) of Jonesboro; 1 son, James Hughes of Palm Bay, FL; 7 grandchildren, Kim Eaker (Tim), Kelley Bozarth and Jared Bozarth all of Jonesboro, Jacki Wangness of Virginia, James Doyle Hughes (Caitlin) of Nashville, TN, Michael Hughes of Melbourne, FL, Brandy Weber (Kerry) of Houston, TX; 8 great grandchildren, Magen Cope of Jonesboro, Angela Rose Dishman (Travis), Ava and Autum Wangness of VA, Gracelynn and Alyssa Weber of Houston, TX, Layne and Brady Bozarth of Conway; 5 great great grandchildren, Tyler, Ashlin and Brooklin Cope of Jonesboro, Isaac and Kyra Dishman of VA; 2 sister-in-laws, Joy Coleman of Jonesboro and Betty Hill of Poplar Bluff, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Missing her so very much, is her companion Angel.  She has never left her side. If we could only explain to her about Heaven.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with service starting at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Mark Harmon officiating.  Burial will follow at Friendly Hope Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Tim Eaker, Jared Bozarth, Roger Scott, Robert Sutton, Michael Hughes and James Doyle Hughes.
