Ethel Inez Hinton, 75, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Thursday morning at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Caraway, Arkansas, Mrs. Hinton moved to the Jonesboro area in 1954. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a member of the Greensboro Extension Homemakers Club and was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers.
She was a loving mother and devoted wife.
Survivors include:
Her husband of 59 years, Roy Lee Hinton, of the home;
4 Daughters: LaWanda Prince of Victoria, Texas, Linda Hill, Cynthia Ann Gay, and Renee Hathcoat, all of Jonesboro;
2 Sons: Donald Hinton, and Bobby Hinton, both of Jonesboro;
1 Brother: James Harold Burrough of Concho, Arizona;
14 Grandchildren, and 17 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with G.W. Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Active and Honorary pallbearers include: James Prince II, N.J. Prince, currently serving in Iraq, Christopher Hathcoat, Aaron Hinton, Collin Hinton, Jason Gay, Nicholas Pieri, Stephen Unger, Daniel Smith and Clayton Thompson.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
