Ethel Harris

Ethel Harris, 91, of Jonesboro, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro all of her life and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Elery Harris, her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Elouise Thompson (Earl, “Pinky”) of Jonesboro; sister, Myrtle Cheshier of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Shane Thompson (Mandy) and Cody Thompson (Stephanie) and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1:30 PM, Monday, June 17, 2013 at Macedonia Cemetery with Bobby Wade officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 PM on Monday at Emerson Funeral Home. To sign an online guest book, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
