Ester Lee Nuckles

Ester Lee Nuckles, 101, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015, at St. Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro.

Born in Sharp County, Ester lived in Monette before moving to Jonesboro in 1949. She and her husband operated Nuckles Septic Service for many years in the Jonesboro area. She was a long-time member of First Assembly of God and enjoyed her dogs, crocheting, quilting, canning and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ester was preceded in death by her husband, George Nuckles, son Richard Nuckles, daughter Pearlie Harrell and granddaughter Becky Harrell Self.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Betty Nuckles of Jonesboro;
5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 10 great, great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Nettleton Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 noon-1:30 at Emerson Funeral Home.
