Ernestine Uleda Barnes

Ernestine Barnes, 79, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was born December 27, 1943 in Monette to the late Earnest and Uleda Barnes. Ernestine enjoyed sewing, cooking and flower gardening. Most of all Ernestine loved spending time with family especially her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ernestine was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Barnes.

Survivors include her brothers, Robert (Brenda) Barnes of Bay; Tony Barnes of Jonesboro and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Ricky Hansen officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
