Ernest L. Tyler

Ernest L. Tyler, 70, of Jonesboro passed from this life on January 24, 2014 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Walnut Ridge to the late Gomer and Mildred Tyler on November 25, 1943. Ernest had farmed and lived in the Jonesboro and Otwell area his entire life. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Vernon Tyler.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doniece Tyler of the home.

Son: Bryan Tyler (Amanda) of Jonesboro.

Sister: Betty Watkins of Bono. Grandson: Heath Tyler.

Step son: Johnny Neal.

Step Daughter: Jill Nash.

Step grandchildren: Kaylee Meador, Ashlee Meador, Salina Greene, Anthony Mansfield, Johnny Kyle Greene, Tucker Nash, Serena Neal, and Seth Neal.

Step great grandchildren: Mollie Torres and Hunter Mansfield.

Funeral services will be at Emerson Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mitch Ford officiating.Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers being: Ron Montgomery, Eric Adams, John Neal, Cleo Watkins Jr., Maurice Watkins, and Danny Pope.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Chadwick, Kevin Chadwick, and Darrell Vaughn.
