Erma Coy Doty

Erma Coy Doty was born April 23, 1930 in Bono. She married Lelon Doty on February 1, 1947.

Erma enjoyed gardening, camping & fishing. She was an excellent seamstress and loved spending time with friends and family.

She will be sadly missed by her family including her daughters Linda Olson of Jonesboro and Patti (Ryan) Patterson of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren Jason Llewellyn of Tonasket, Washington, Holly (Tony) LaGuardia of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Greg Olson of Jonesboro, Matthew Patterson of Boise, Idaho and Christopher Patterson of Boise, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Lilly and Layla Olson of Jonesboro and Chance Llewellyn of Mountain Home, Idaho; sister, Freida Bryant of Jonesboro and several nieces and nephews.

Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Lelon; parents Everett Coy and Minnie (Stokes) Coy; brother, Raymond Coy and sister, Marie Lewis.

Her neighbors in Bay and her church family at Parkview Baptist Church were also her extended family.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 2 pm with Bro. Bubba Reese and Bro. Wayne Hillis officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
