Erica Crawford

Winnie Erica Crawford, 34, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center.  She was born to Beatrice Crawford and QT Brim on September 18, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois.  Winnie confessed her life to Christ at an early age.  She was a graduate from Nettleton High School.  She was affectionately known as Erica and TeeTee to those who loved her most.  Winnie’s favorite color was blue, she enjoyed music, cooking and was a very generous and giving person.  Winnie had a special love for her grandmother, Bobbie Crawford and her uncle, Larry Crawford, whom she referred to as her daddy.  MOST of all Winnie was a loving and devoted mother to her babies (Lavell, Kiedria, Ericka, and Kyra). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Kendra, Kentra Holland, Uncle Henry Hunter, and aunts, Vera Crawford and Lisa Crawford.

Winnie is survived by her life-long partner of 17 years, Kendrick Holland of Jonesboro; son, Lavell Crawford; daughters, Keidria Holland, Ericka Holland, Kyra Holland; grandmother, Bobbie Crawford, brothers, Lavell Crawford, Terrace Crawford, Deshawn Sanders, sisters Larissa Crawford, Marshelle Crawford, Kiesha Crawford, Anisha Crawford; uncle, Larry Crawford (Deangelis); aunts, Bobbie Jones, Pearlie Crawford, Linda Crawford, Diane Crawford, Jaqueline Crawford, Kawana Johnson (Charles), Ruby Hunter and great aunt, Vera Hunter.  Erica also leaves behind a host of other family members, including, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, April 15, 2022 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ray Scales officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with DeAngelo Crawford, Deshawn Sanders, Jamar Slatton, Marcus Hunter, Hakeem Nelson and Bryan Crawford serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
