Eric Thomas Garrison

Eric Thomas Garrison, 36, of Pocahontas, passed from this life, Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. He was born January 21, 1981 in Salem to Tom and Kathy Garrison. Eric was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Eric enjoyed hunting and fishing with his daughter, playing with his nephews and camping with his Yankee cousins.

Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Lora Lee; great maternal grandparents, Harvey Mammie Gann; great paternal grandparents, Herman and Lucille Garrison; cousin, Amanda Dawn Honeycutt and many Aunts and Uncles.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his daughter, Melody Garrison; son, Bradon (Lane Thomas) Cortez; sister, Katie Garrison; paternal grandparents, Tom and Jessie Mae Garrison; his nephews who called him Uncow: Christian, Kindall and Kilyan DeBoard; his fiancé, Krystal Ward and many other friends and family.

A memorial service will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Byrd Free Will Baptist Church in Myrtle, Missouri at 3:00 p.m. with Gary Moore and Richard Todd officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
