Emmett Pickering

Emmett Pickering, 69, life-long resident of Jonesboro died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his home. He was of the Baptist belief. Emmett was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; his parents and one brother, Donald Pickering.

Survivors include son, Lance Pickering; brothers, Dee Pickering, Jim Pickering and Jerry Pickering; sisters, Wilma Wright, JoAnn Beason, Sue Neal, Kay Wimpy and Lynn Tubbs, all from Jonesboro; one grandson, Brody Pickering.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Herman Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Tuesday at Emerson.
