Emmalei Nicole Utley

Emmalei Nicole Utley, 18, of Caraway passed from this life Sunday, April 22, 2018 after a tragic accident. She was born October 5, 1999 In Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Bobby Utley and Jodie Scales. Emmalei was a senior at Riverside High school and was a cheerleader. Emmalei was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Black Oak. She loved spending time with her friends, shopping and getting her nails done. Emmalei enjoyed going fishing with her brothers and spending time with family. Her favorite thing to do though was spending time with her daughter Jenna Mae and singing to her.

Emmalei was preceded in death by her brother, Zachary Utley; maternal grandfather, Billy Adams, and uncle, Charles Adams.

In addition to her parents, Emmalei is survived by her paternal grandparents who raised her, James and Jeannie Meurer; daughter, Jenna Mae Turner; brothers, Josh (Mickayla) Utley, Cody (Jacey) Utley; big sister, Sarah (Ethan) Poe; sisters, Autumm Crump, Maggie Crump; maternal grandmother, Debbie Tate; great grandmother, Fern Price; aunts, Amber Hardwick, Pamela Meurer, Angela Goodman; uncle, Lesley Meurer; sissy, Maci Hardwick and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Anthony Price and Heath Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Caraway Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-3:30 p.m.
