Emilee Ann Penn

Emilee Ann Penn, 70, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and a Sunday School teacher for second grade and the nursery department at Central Baptist.

Emilee was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and great grandmother. She taught in the Jonesboro Public School System teaching special education at Helen Dudley, Douglas McArthur and also at Hickory Ridge and Nettleton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy L. Perry, and her brother, Nick Perry.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Larry Bailey officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Joey Penn, Marcus Penn, Jackson Evans, Aaron Penn, Garry Patterson, Lance Patterson, and Mike Perry. Honorary pallbearers are Doffie Jarvis, Jerry Muse, John Darter, Dwain Sims, and Danny Wages.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
