Elvis "Jack" Travis Jr.

Elvis “Jack” Travis Jr, 68, of Bay passed from this life Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born August 19, 1954 in Jonesboro to the late Effie Eula Travis and Elvis Travis Sr.

Jack enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and fishing. Jack served our country in the United States Army. He was also a pilot and enjoyed flying and was a flight instructor for several years.

In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas “Bud” Travis and sisters, Joan Rodriguez and Nadine Travis.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Travis of the home; daughters, Brandi (Ken) Hiscox and Stacy (David) Travis; grandchildren, Dylan Brewer, Bethany Evans, Cody Maggard, Cory Maggard, Courtny Maggard, Christopher Maggard, Chasity Maggard and great-grandchildren, Stella Evans and Karsynn Short.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Friday, February 3, 2023 at Oaklawn Cemetery.
