Elroy Gilbert

Elroy Pittman Gilbert, 80, of Jonesboro passed this life on Friday, February 10, 2017.

She was born on April 10, 1936 to the late Roy and Mable Moore Pittman. Elroy lived her life residing in the Jonesboro area. She loved to camp, hike, and go to the Buffalo River. She also enjoyed animals especially her cats and she loved to work in her garden. She worked for Quality Optic as an Optician until her retirement. She was a member off the Living Church of God. The love she showed her family will be missed but never forgotten. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gilbert; and one sister, Dorothy Flanagan.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Cindy) Gilbert of Gosnell; three grandchildren, Kevin Gilbert of Jonesboro, Amanda (Garrett) Casey of Manila, and Jeremiah (Rhonda) Binkard of Lebanon, TN; four great grandchildren, Weston and Lily Binkard of Lebanon, TN, Rylan and Karlee Rae Casey of Manila; two brothers, David Pittman of Tampa, FL and Danny Pittman of Oregon; five sisters, Eloise Shirley of West Memphis, Linda Gray of Morrilton, Ellen White of Hardy, Helen Medlin of Oklahoma, and Kathleen Pittman of Dallas, TX; and a host of other family and friends.

All her services will be announced at a later with Interment to take place at Bird Eye Veteran Cemetery.
