Elmer Eugene " Too Tall" Bruner

Elmer Eugene “Too Tall” Bruner, 56, of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, October 14, 2016 at Regional One Heath Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born July 1, 1960 in Jonesboro to Harold and Loretta Bruner. Tall was an avid motorcycle mechanic who loved to ride. He was also a former member of the FUGARWE Tribe.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Bruner.

Tall is survived by his wife, Colleen Bruner; father, Butch Bruner; one brother, Steve Russell of Hot Springs; two sisters, Debra (Jim) Smith of Jonesboro and Sandy Bagwell of Imboden; four nephews, Martin Smith, Cary Smith, Casey Bagwell and Nick Bagwell; one niece: Priscilla Cobble and; several aunts, uncles and a host friends.

A visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Wednesday, October 19 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be at 10 am Thursday, October 20 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Tracy Clayton officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

A celebration of life pot luck will be from 1-8pm Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Lake Frierson State Park. In lieu of flowers/donations the family asks those attending to bring a dish of your choice.
