Ellis Hall Jr.

Ellis “Bud” Hall Jr., 91, of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday June 2nd, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born June 12, 1931 in Jonesboro to the late Ellis Hall Sr. and Anna Hall.
Ellis has lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was of Baptist faith. He worked at General Electric for 38 years and enjoyed hunting, traveling the country in his motor home with his wife and spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his parents, Ellis is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Stephens Hall; two sons, Michael Stephen Hall and Shannon Lee Hall; sister, Faye Dickens; granddaughter, Stephanie Hall and stepmother, Sara Ann Hall.

He is survived by his daughter, Robin (Randel) Jennings of Greenville, Kentucky; sons, Larry (Leigh Anne) Hall of Jonesboro and Gary (Cathy) Hall of Paragould; sister, Margaret Hall Smith of Jonesboro as well as 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 9-10 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 10 a.m. with Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
