It is with great sadness that the family of Ellen M. Sauerbier announces her passing on April 11, 2026.

Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Mary Anne Walk of New Jersey, her Godson, Ed Muscarella, of Illinois, her nephew, Michael Walk of Arizona, her grand- niece, Alexandria Ghant and grand-nephew, James Cheek, along with their families. Her many friends and former colleagues join the family in mourning her passing.

Ellen was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Sauerbier; her two sons, Christopher and Timothy, her parents, Orin and Myrl Becker, of Arkansas and brother, Len Becker, of Arkansas.

Ellen worked at Continental Grain in Chicago, IL for more than 20 years and then joined the Illinois Amvets as bookkeeper for more than 20 years. She retired in 2019.

A memorial service will be held at Sunrise Senior Living in Olympia Fields, IL (date to be determined) and an intimate family graveside service will be held in Lepanto Arkansas.
