Ellen "Jean" Mcclard

Ellen "Jean" McClard, 86, of Jonesboro passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2013. She was born on August 13, 1927 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. She lived most of her life in northern Indiana. She is preceded in death by her husband; Cecil McClard. Sister; Shirley Smith and Brother; Bill Kuck.

She is survived by her daughters; Sue Ellen McBee, Tampa, FL. Cynthia Jean Kawicki(Patrick), Lincoln, NE. Robin Ann Stracener(Tommy), Jonesboro, AR and Kelly Lee McLain(Dale), Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Grandchildren; Shawn Kawicki(Marsha), Christy Smith(Gary), Stacey Merkel(Joe), Tracy Vallejo(Prudy), Matthew George(Rebecca), Rob McBee, and Cody George(Lindsey). Great-Grandchidren; Kayla, Melissa, Josie, Quentin, Sam, Ella, Claire, Aden, Allie, Alex, Ben, Kasie, Haley, Emma & soon to be here Everett.

Jean loved her family and she loved to sew. She was always working on a project. Her favorites were baby quilts, aprons and pot holders. And many special people lay their heads down on a pillow case that she made just for them. She kept her family and friends well supplied with the labors of her love. She will be sadly missed by us all.
