Ellen Collar Guthrie

Ellen Collar Guthrie, 65, of Black Rock passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1954 in Calico Rock. Ellen was the daughter of the late Carl and Virginia Collar. She was of the Baptist belief. Ellen enjoyed cooking, gardening and was an avid reader. She loved her family most of all and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her sister, Lea Ann Bowers; maternal grandparents, D.M. and Nannie Kreis and paternal grandparents, Jack and Grace Collar.

Survivors include her brother, Steve (Debra) Collar of Jonesboro; sisters, Regina (Rick) Brewer of Black Rock, Janna (Pat) Quillian of Atlanta, Georgia; 2 nieces, Jessica (Steven) Bryant of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Anna Bowers of Memphis; 2 nephews, Chad Brewer of Walnut Ridge, Brad Brewer of Black Rock; 1 great niece, Karlee Brewer; 3 great nephews: Tyler, Andrew and River Brewer;  brother-n-law, John Bowers of Memphis and many other family and friends.
