Ellamae Owens Foster

Ellamae Owens Foster, 84, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She has lived in Jonesboro for forty years moving here from Egypt, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Winston and Maudie Owens; sisters, Lois Long, and Johnnie Brogdon; brothers, Will Owens and Chester “Check” Owens.

Survivors include daughters, Sandra “Sandie” (Gary) Houston, Bono, Arkansas; Linda (Bill) McClintock, Jonesboro; Brenda (Bob) Sharp, Jonesboro; Judy (Andy) Foster, Imboden; and Mecca McClintock, Mesa Arizona; son, Ricky Foster, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one sister, Ruby Yielding, Shawnee, Kansas; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:30, Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Markham Cemetery, near Egypt, A with Willie Wilbanks officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no public visitation.
