Ella "Oleva" Jackson

Ella “Oleva” Jackson, 87, of Jonesboro formerly of Blytheville passed from this life Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born December 19, 1933 in Eaton to the late Perry Douglas and Mary Elizabeth Culver. Ella was a member of South Caraway Baptist Church. She enjoyed talking with friends and family. Ella was married to the late Rufus Garlen Jackson for 41 years. They were married in the Powhatan Courthouse.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ella was preceded in death by 2 sisters, brother and a great grandson Tyler Dean.

Survivors include her children, Mary (Bill) Lantz of Beverly Hills, Florida, Wayne (Terry) Jackson of Springfield, Missouri, Perry (Lana) Jackson of Jonesboro, Glenda Hill of Bixby, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10:00 am in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Christopher Jackson and Bro. Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville at 12:00 pm.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 am prior to the service.
