Ella Cook

Ella Johnson Cook, 88, died Tuesday, August 23 ^rd , at her home in Jonesboro.

Ella was born October 2, 1933, at Judd Hill in Poinsett County.  Her parents were the late Curtis and Velma Blasingame Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Ella was predeceased by her husband Howard, daughter Reina Margaret Cook, sister Shirley Medlock, and brothers Charles “Bud” Johnson and Lowell “Junior” Johnson.

Ella loved her family and was a diehard Elvis Presley fan.  She also loved watching game shows on television.

Survivors include her daughter Deborah (Dwight) Lane of Fayetteville, AR, son Timothy Howard Cook of Jonesboro, grandchildren Ashlyn Cook, Nikolas Cook, Romani Cook, Bridget Brewer and Brandon Lane, and great grandchildren Tiffany and Haley Brewer.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 26 ^th , at 1 p.m. at Caldwell Chapel Cemetery with Jimmy Adcox officiating. Pallbearers will be Timothy Cook, David Cook, Tim Culbreath, Ricky Holt, and Phillip Brewer.
