Elizabeth Belle Tice, 67, departed this life on Monday, April 6, 2026, at her home in Trumann, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 28, 1959, in Osceola to James Henry Simpson and Loretta Johnson.
Elizabeth was a faithful member of Willis Chapel Pentecostal Church. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, watching Little House on the Prairie, enjoying her favorite candy while watching television, sewing and making quilts, and caring for her beloved dogs. She loved her morning coffee, flowers, and above all, she loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them. Her greatest love was her faith and her devotion to Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James Franklin Simpson; and a granddaughter, Courtney Renee Johnson.
Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her husband, Robert Tice; her sons, James Robert (Carrie) Mitchell, Billy Joe McGuire, and Bruce Lee (Whitney) McGuire; her daughters, Becky (Michael) Johnson, Frances “BamBam” South, Swanda (Clifton) Puckett, Laura Heaven McGuire, and Sandy (James) Jones; her brothers, Carl Michael (Lisa) Simpson, Charles (Carla) Simpson, and Melvin Pickle; her sisters, her twin, Judy (David) Browder, and Sherry Renee (Wayne) Elliott; 31 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; her extended family, Joey (Tina) Greer; and her beloved fur babies.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Gene Bogard officiating. Burial will follow at Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Billy McGuire, Bruce McGuire, Zachary Johnson, Christopher Hardin, Jimmy Hanna, and Cody Clairday. Honorary pallbearers include Jim Mitchell, Joshua South, Noah McGuire, Jerry Hardin, Austin Hardin, William Hardin, Trey Williams, and Hunter Jones.
